The Victron Multiplus inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, regardless of whether this is the result of overload or a high ambient temperature.

Power control

A maximum generator or shore power can be set with the multi-control panel. The multiplus takes other power consumers into account and only uses power that is still € ˜over ‘for charging.

PowerAssist

If peak power is often only needed for a short time, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient power is immediately compensated. When the load decreases, backup power is used to charge the battery.

High start-up power

High start-up power is required to start loads with high inrush current. These are, for example, voltage converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps and power tools.

Search Mode

The power consumption of the inverter is reduced by about 70% at no load when the search mode is enabled. The search mode means that the inverter is switched off when there is no load or when it is very low. The inverter will then switch on briefly every 2 seconds.

Programmable relays

The programmable relay is set as an alarm relay by default. This means that the relays are de-energized in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm, for example when the inverter becomes too hot or the battery voltage is too low.
